Springs Aviation, founded in 1995, is a family-owned Part 61 flight school and FBO based at Meadow Lake Airport (KFLY) in Peyton, Colorado, serving the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. It offers Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI training, a specialized mountain flying course, and aircraft rental across a fleet of ten-plus Cessna 172s and a Cessna 182, plus in-house maintenance through Springs Aircraft Services.

Training

Private Pilot

Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.

High Performance

Ground and flight training endorsement for aircraft with engines producing more than 200 horsepower.

Complex Aircraft

Endorsement training for aircraft equipped with retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable-pitch propeller.

Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.
