EAS Flight Training operates three FAA Part 61 flight training centers in southwest Missouri, Aurora, Monett/Pierce City, and Neosho, training private through airline transport pilots since 1997. It also offers professional pilot services, aircraft rental, a Redbird FMX full-motion simulator, and financing through Stratus Financial and AOPA.

Programs & Services

Training

Private Pilot

Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.

Instrument Rating

IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.

Commercial Pilot

Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.

Multi-Engine Rating

Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.

CFI

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.

CFII

Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) rating preparation for teaching instrument students, including advanced IFR procedures and instructional techniques.

ATP

Airline Transport Pilot certificate preparation covering airline-level operations, crew resource management, and ATP knowledge test prep.

Discovery Flights

Introductory sightseeing flight with a certified instructor, perfect for anyone curious about learning to fly.

Flight Review

Biennial flight review including a ground session on regulations and aeronautical knowledge plus a flight portion with maneuvers.

IPC

Instrument proficiency check to regain IFR currency, covering approaches, holds, intercepting and tracking courses.

Simulator Training

Flight simulation training using FAA-approved devices (AATD, BATD, FTD, or full-motion simulators) for instrument practice, procedure training, and scenario-based exercises.

Transition Training

Aircraft-specific checkout and transition training for pilots moving to a new make, model, or avionics suite.

Endorsements

Tailwheel

Conventional gear endorsement covering ground handling, crosswind technique, and three-point and wheel landings.

Complex Aircraft

Endorsement training for aircraft equipped with retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable-pitch propeller.

High Performance

Ground and flight training endorsement for aircraft with engines producing more than 200 horsepower.

Rental

Aircraft Rental

Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.

Maintenance

Aircraft Maintenance

FAA-certified repair station offering annual inspections, engine overhauls, airframe repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Other Services

Pilot Services
