True Course Flight School is a small, highly experienced flight school based at Syracuse Hancock Airport. We work with people of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds to get them comfortable in the cockpit. We provide training for private pilot license, commercial pilot license, and instrument rating. Our five instructors train students on carefully maintained aircraft. We believe that learning how to operate a plane should be enjoyable from start to finish.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Aircraft Rental
Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.
