Travis Air Force Base Aero Club, founded in 1954 as part of the 60th Force Support Squadron, provides flight training and aircraft rentals to military, DOD, and Civil Air Patrol members in Rio Vista, California. The club trains from Private Pilot through ATP in a fleet of seven Piper and Cessna aircraft, and won AOPA's 2019 Flight Training Experience Award.
