Historic Stanton Airfield is a privately-owned, public-use airport located 35 miles south of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport on Highway 19, halfway between Northfield and Cannon Falls. Pilots come to Stanton for the nostalgic feel, open skies, friendly atmosphere and some of the greatest grass runway flying in the Midwest. Home to the Minnesota Soaring Club, Twin City Barnstormers, and Stanton Squadron of Civil Air Patrol.
