Squadron 2 has been in business for more than 20 years starting originally at San Jose airport in 1973. We pride ourselves in being one the friendliest, easily accessible clubs and schools in the Bay Area with a large selection of aircraft. Our goal is to provide the best aircraft and training at affordable rates. We offer Part 141 flight school training as well as Part 61 training to meet your needs. We are associated with the San Jose State University flight training program.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
CFI
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.
ATP
Airline Transport Pilot certificate preparation covering airline-level operations, crew resource management, and ATP knowledge test prep.
