Rochester Air Center is the premier location for flight training and aircraft rental in central and western New York. Located at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport, we offer aircraft rentals and work with a team of independent instructors to provide extensive Part 61 and Part 141 flight instruction for all levels of skill and experience, both single and multi-engine.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
Ground School
FAA knowledge test preparation covering aerodynamics, weather, navigation, regulations, and aircraft systems.
Aircraft Rental
