Southern Maryland Seaplanes is now fully supporting the Ready 9 Aviation Academy, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Ready 9's mission is to promote aviation as a STEM career field for youth and adults. The organization offers tailwheel training and seaplane training, with a long-term goal to offer hands-on aviation exposure to all high school aged students in St. Mary's County.
