Piedmont Flight Training is a professional flight training school operating under FAA Part 141 and Part 61 rules from Private Pilot Certification through CFI Certification. The only flight school within the region with over three decades of experience. PFT offers advanced training for Instrument, Multi-Engine, and Commercial ratings, as well as CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates. Training is available seven days a week, with equipment and instruction available 24 hours a day.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
CFI
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.
Aircraft Rental
Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.
