New Horizons Aviation

New Horizons Aviation is a family-run flight school at Goshen Municipal Airport in Goshen, Indiana, founded in 2006 to make flying attainable for people from all walks of life. Training runs from private pilot through commercial, CFI, and CFII, supported by a Redbird full motion simulator and an on-site FAA knowledge testing center. Licensed pilots can also rent well-maintained Cessna, Piper, and Diamond aircraft at affordable wet rates.

Training

Private Pilot

Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.

Instrument Rating

Commercial Pilot

CFI

Discovery Flights

Introductory sightseeing flight with a certified instructor — perfect for anyone curious about learning to fly.

Ground School

FAA knowledge test preparation covering aerodynamics, weather, navigation, regulations, and aircraft systems.

Flight Review

Biennial flight review including a ground session on regulations and aeronautical knowledge plus a flight portion with maneuvers.

Simulator Training

Flight simulation training using FAA-approved devices (AATD, BATD, FTD, or full-motion simulators) for instrument practice, procedure training, and scenario-based exercises.

Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.
