Luke Weathers Flight Academy (LWFA) is an all-new flight academy established by the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) to honor Lieutenant Colonel Luke Weathers Jr., the first African American air traffic controller for the FAA based at Memphis International Airport.
