FLY. Goodyear, previously known as Buckeye Flight Experience, has been training pilots in the Phoenix Valley for over 15 years. In 2013 the school moved to Goodyear Airport from Buckeye Airport to be closer to students and provide a quality learning atmosphere. The school offers single-engine and multi-engine flight training for recreational pilots and those pursuing aviation careers. FLY.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
CFI
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.
CFII
Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) rating preparation for teaching instrument students, including advanced IFR procedures and instructional techniques.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
MEI
Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) rating preparation for teaching multi-engine students, covering engine-out instruction techniques and multi-engine training methods.
Aircraft Rental
Rent aircraft for solo flights after completing a checkout with one of our instructors. Wet and dry rates available.
