Aircraft mechanics and technicians repair and perform scheduled maintenance on aircraft. They also may perform aircraft inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The program is centered around the requirements for maintenance certification as published in the Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147.
