Columbia Training Centers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Part 61 flight school based at Potomac Airfield in Fort Washington, Maryland, serving the Washington DC area. CTC carries forward the legacy of the Columbia Air Center, the first African-American owned and operated airfield in the US, founded in 1941. The school offers instruction for recreational and professional certifications, ground school, and discovery flights, with a strong STEM outreach mission for underrepresented communities.
