Certified Flyers is the premiere Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) training center in the northeast, focusing on accelerated glass cockpit training. Founded in 1972, they provide advanced training in all Cirrus SR aircraft and offer the latest general aviation technology. The facility is known for high employment rates among graduating students and instructors, with many employed by major/regional airlines and private corporations.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
CFI
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.
CFII
Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) rating preparation for teaching instrument students, including advanced IFR procedures and instructional techniques.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
