Aqua Aero provides seaplane training in coastal North Carolina. Founded in 2020 by David Lackey, a former airline pilot, certificated flight instructor and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, the school offers seaplane rating courses and adventure flights. The training center is located on a riverfront property on the North East Cape Fear River, featuring two rooms for transient students and a Maule M-7-260 Amphibious aircraft.
