AirLink Flight School is an FAA Part 61 and Part 141 certified flight school with VA-approved and SEVIS-certified programs, operating from three locations: Portland and Waterville, Maine, and Grant-Valkaria, Florida. The school trains pilots from private through commercial certificates and CFI/CFII, and runs a DGCA-compliant accelerated program for international students.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
CFI
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training covering fundamentals of instruction, lesson planning, and flight teaching techniques for single-engine aircraft.
CFII
Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) rating preparation for teaching instrument students, including advanced IFR procedures and instructional techniques.
MEI
Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) rating preparation for teaching multi-engine students, covering engine-out instruction techniques and multi-engine training methods.
Flight Review
Biennial flight review including a ground session on regulations and aeronautical knowledge plus a flight portion with maneuvers.
IPC
Instrument proficiency check to regain IFR currency, covering approaches, holds, intercepting and tracking courses.
Recurrent Training
Proficiency training for type-rated and active pilots to maintain currency, sharpen skills, and meet insurance requirements.
Transition Training
Aircraft-specific checkout and transition training for pilots moving to a new make, model, or avionics suite.
Simulator Training
Flight simulation training using FAA-approved devices (AATD, BATD, FTD, or full-motion simulators) for instrument practice, procedure training, and scenario-based exercises.
Career Training
Structured airline career pilot pathway from zero time through CFI or ATP, including mentorship and airline placement assistance.
Complex Aircraft
Endorsement training for aircraft equipped with retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable-pitch propeller.
High Performance
Ground and flight training endorsement for aircraft with engines producing more than 200 horsepower.
