Aberdeen Flying Service (AFS) has been serving people since 1946. It's a family-run business, now in its third generation, led by Mark Caven, his son Charles, and Charles' wife Janna. AFS offers charter flights, line service (FBO), pilot training, aircraft maintenance, air freight, and car rentals. They have planes and pilots ready to go from Aberdeen, SD and Bismarck, ND, and can fly throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Private Pilot
Private pilot certificate program from zero experience through checkride, including ground school and flight training.
Instrument Rating
IFR training covering precision and non-precision approaches, holds, cross-country flight planning, and partial-panel work.
Commercial Pilot
Commercial certificate training including complex and high-performance aircraft time, maneuvers, and cross-country requirements.
Multi-Engine Rating
Multi-engine add-on rating with training in engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and systems management.
MEI
Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) rating preparation for teaching multi-engine students, covering engine-out instruction techniques and multi-engine training methods.
Aircraft Rental
