Code 1 Aviation is a warbird maintenance, restoration, and flight training company. Founded in early 2012 in Lakeland, Florida, with subsequent locations in Rockford, Illinois (2012) and Carbondale, Illinois (2015). The company specializes in L-39 Albatros aircraft and other warbird types. The maintenance team comprises more than 20 specialized and general technicians with over 100 years of combined experience in jet and military aviation.

Enhanced Aero is dedicated to providing quality engineering, maintenance, and avionics installation work. With extensive experience, we offer expertise in nearly every aspect of aviation. In September 2021, we proudly opened our state-of-the-art facilities at Southern Illinois Airport (KMDH). We are committed to creating long-lasting relationships with our customers and exceeding their expectations at every step.

SIU School of Aviation is home to a nationally recognized and comprehensive aviation program. What started as a service unit of the university offering flight classes with four airplanes and spare parts has transformed into one of the nation's leading comprehensive aviation programs with multiple degree programs, a state-of-the-industry facility and more than 600 students.
