KCPS, St. Louis Downtown Airport, is a public-use facility located in the Cahokia/St. Louis area of Illinois at 412 feet elevation. The airport features three runways: 05/23 at 2,799 feet of asphalt, 12L/30R at 5,301 feet of concrete, and 12R/30L at 7,002 feet of asphalt. A full-service control tower manages operations, with approach control available on 123.7 and 371.875 MHz.
Instrument operations are supported by ILS/LOC and RNAV (GPS) approaches, with four total instrument approach procedures available along with seven standard departures. The airport provides 100LL and Jet A fuel services. Multiple flight training organizations operate from KCPS, including North American Helicopter, STL Flight Training Inc., Ideal Aviation, Southwestern Illinois College, and St. Louis University. Symonds Aviation operates a flying club at the field.
