Buchanan Field (KCCR) is a public-use airport located in Concord, California, at an elevation of 25 feet. The airport features a control tower and four runways serving general aviation traffic. The longest runway, 01L/19R, measures 5,001 feet with an asphalt-concrete surface, while 14L/32R extends 4,602 feet. Two shorter asphalt runways, 01R/19L and 14R/32L, provide additional capacity at 2,770 and 2,798 feet respectively.
KCCR offers multiple instrument approach options including RNAV (GPS), LDA, and VOR procedures across three published approaches. The airport is well-equipped with fuel services providing 100LL, A1+, and UL94. Several flight training and flying club organizations operate from the field, including Sterling Aviation Flight Training Center, Pacific States Aviation, MP Aviation, and four active flying clubs: the 184 Flying Club, Concord Flying Club, Valley Pilots Flying Club, and PIC Flying Club.
